How It Works

This calculator estimates your WhatsApp Business API cost based on several message types. The pricing assumptions used are:

• Session Messages: $0.008 per message.
• Template Messages: $0.04 per message.
• Marketing Messages: $0.04 per message.
• Utility Messages: $0.04 per message.
• Authentication Messages: $0.04 per message.
• Service Messages: $0.04 per message (first 1000 messages are free).

The total cost is calculated as the sum of:

(Session Messages x $0.008) + (Template Messages x $0.04) + (Marketing Messages x $0.04) + (Utility Messages x $0.04) + (Authentication Messages x $0.04) + [Service Messages cost]

For Service Messages, if the total number is 1000 or fewer, there is no cost. For more than 1000 messages, only the messages exceeding 1000 are charged.
